What Should Your Email Autoresponder Say To Your Subscribers?

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /var/www/vhosts/incomemachine.com/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/paper-template/papertemplate.php(15) : eval()'d code(3) : eval()'d code on line 392

If you want to build a following or even make sales and get traffic online, you need to build an email list that it's simply unavoidable. So you create a landing page, also called an opt-in page or a squeeze page where someone can come to your site and fill in their name and email address to get something for free, and now they have opted in to your email list and can receive emails from you unless they have decided they want to unsubscribe.

So, you've done half of the work. You've created a landing page, you send people to it through backlinks, through articles, forums and other forms of traffic and now you need a way to talk to these people and now you need something to say on a somewhat regular basis.

When you're thinking about what blog post to send people to or what offers you want them to buy from or what affiliate links to click on, what should your emails really say? I want you to remember that there are three kinds of emails you sent. They are notifications, they are reminders and they are value.

You need to send very short emails. This makes it easier for people to read them but also makes it very easy for you to write them. If you think of sending emails as simple notifications then your job is much easier. Look at the emails that Facebook sends to its subscribers. They might send some news about the site but usually it's just that someone has posted on your Facebook wall or added you as a friend. Likewise, Amazon.com sends emails and they will send a weekly update of what new products are available that you might like.

Think about what do you want to notify your subscribers about. Maybe you're recommending a link and you want them to be aware of something that's happening in your industry. Maybe you're showing them a URL to your blog post because you're notifying them that you made a new blog post or that you setup a new webpage and they should check it out right away.

The second type of email you can send is a reminder. This is even easier. You already sent them a link in an earlier email so you're just making sure that they clicked on that link and saw what you had to say. Sometimes these are things that you notify them about change.

For example, you made a blog post, people looked at it and commented. Now you can send an email telling people that people left comments and that they should now join the discussion which is taking place there. If you sent a link to something to buy, you can deliver different reasons in different emails why they should click and buy right away.

The third type of email to send is an email that demonstrates some kind of value that teaches them something and this is as simple as taking your articles and putting them in your email follow-up sequence. You can put blog post, maybe abbreviated forms of blog post, lists or something that gives people really powerful advice, tips, rants or tutorials in the form of email.

I hope that helps you decide what to put in emails and what kind of emails to send on a regular basis to your email opt-in subscribers. Send notifications so that people know about something new, send reminders sending them back to links that you shared before and value where you might share some kind of content in that message and even have a link below that. So, send those three types of emails and let me know how it works out.

The Best Subject Lines To Use In Your Email Autoresponders

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /var/www/vhosts/incomemachine.com/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/paper-template/papertemplate.php(15) : eval()'d code(3) : eval()'d code on line 392

The very best thing you should be doing for your business is to be building an email subscriber list. This means you sign up with an autoresponder service such as AWeber and create a landing page and present a free gift on that landing page, send the people to it asking for them to fill in their name and email address. In exchange, get this free report video or piece of software.

After they sign up and they get their free gift, you can then continue to talk to them or market to them. You can now send the emails and broadcast to everyone who has voluntarily opted in or decided to be on your list up on to the point where they choose to unsubscribe or just stay on your list. When you send these emails, the most difficult part is to get started to conquer that writer's block and type in a subject line because when someone checks your email, they see lots of subject lines in their email and they choose which emails to open based on what subject that shows up.

How do you choose a subject in your email autoresponder sequences and broadcast that gets everything opened? You would use the same language you use to talk to a friend over email. You would think about what gets you to open your emails and keep in mind that shocking statements are good but helpful statements are better.

What kind of email messages do you send to friends whether it's just an email or Facebook email? What do they send to you? Do these people normally put the name of their website at the beginning of the email? Do they usually type all lower case, in all caps or in sentence case? Think about it and just model your emails that same way. Make sure to be writing these autoresponder emails the same way you'd write a personal email.

I'm the kind of person who puts someone's first name at the beginning of an email. But if you're not, then don't. I also like to sign my name at the bottom of an email, but if you don't, then don't.

When you're coming up with a subject line, think about what kind of language you use on a friend. Do you normally write long subject lines, short subject lines? Do you say one or two things in a subject line? Do you have parenthesis? Just replicate what you would normally use in everyday conversation.

Speaking of everyday conversation, which emails do you open up the most? Are they the ones that have funny things in the title? Do they have jokes in them? Do they simply say something mysterious like "Test" or "Open me now" or "Click this right away"?

Every time that you check your email and some subject line looks interesting enough for you to open the entire message, make a note of that and start building a mental swipe file of what are good and bad subject lines to use. But at the end of the day, you really shouldn't put too much thought into what the subject of your email will say because shocking is good but helpful is better.

That means if I'm sending out an email that tells people about membership sites and there's information in there, I might just subject my email with the phrase "Membership sites." If I'm running a webinar, I might set the subject to be "Webinar Wednesday 2 PM" instead of trying to be clever.

When you're making subject lines for email, use the same language you would use on a friend. Think about what gets you personally to open an email and always remember that shocking is good but helpful is better.

Let's get together and figure out your entire email autoresponder sequence at www.NewbieCrusher.com.

Evergreen Versus Information Products

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /var/www/vhosts/incomemachine.com/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/paper-template/papertemplate.php(15) : eval()'d code(3) : eval()'d code on line 392

When you make a video, e-book, report, or membership site should you make the information still be relevant a year from now and three years from now, or should it be current only today? I know that you might see some fads that come and go on the internet, whether it's facebook fan pages, advertising on Fiver or outsourcing on oDesk, you will always see websites, methods or techniques that will work today but might not necessarily be the same a year from now.

If you are making a product that takes you under 24 hours, and you want to make it about a fad that might die out in a month or a year, then do it but if your time it takes to make an information product is longer than 24 hours then stick to an Evergreen subject.

Evergreen means that when you are making a video or a report, you make sure not to mention the current day of the week, time, current month, year or even the day, that way when people see your information six months or a year from now they won't discount the value of it.

If a good opportunity comes along and you are really excited about some new way of marketing, some new technique, or some new system and you can record it in under 24 hours get it published and everything then you should create some kind of video training based on this current fad. And the reason for that is because in six months if that fad dies out or changes, you can create Version 2.0, Version 3.0 and update your course.

What technique has been working very well for me is decide what price you want to make this training course, such as $197. You can have people buy into this training course and in the future if they want the updated version they can pay some kind of existing customer prices such as $47 to get the updated training. If they don't pay the upgraded price they will still have access to your old training but now you can paid over and over again just by updating your training, adding new information to it, and making it more exciting.

A very easy way to organize this on a technical level is to set up a membership site because you can create one membership level for your 1.0 product, one memberhsip level for your 2.0 product, and so on. That way when you sell new customers into Version 2, they get Version 1 and 2. When you sell to customers Version 3, they get Versions 1, 2, and 3 and you can simply add new videos to this members area, and people can buy which module they want.

When it comes to making information products, if you can capitalize or teach some new or time based, or time sensitive subject do it in under 24 hours, if you can't do it under 24 hours make that training Evergreen. Either way it is always a good idea to use a membership and membership levels to handle your digital downloads and update them on a regular basis.

How To Outsource the Creation of your Next Information Product

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /var/www/vhosts/incomemachine.com/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/paper-template/papertemplate.php(15) : eval()'d code(3) : eval()'d code on line 392

Writing a digital report, e-book, or even making a video course can be fun but writing, editing and slaving over your next product is not fun. That is why while it is possible to outsource some of the product creation process, you should do the creative, easy and fun stuff yourself and then hire out someone else to do the tedious tasks such as transcription.

I don't believe that you 100% outsource the creation of your next product, but you will be happy with it. What you should do is decide what parts of making a product are creative for you. That might mean that you will make the outline, that you will make some of the bonuses, even record some of the videos but you might dictate videos and audios and have someone else transcribe them for you.

Then you can focus on making the information easy to use. My favorite way of doing this is dictating out some audios, getting them transcribed and then addiing screen shots in between parts of the transcript, so that when anyone gets it they can still tell that this was dictated by me, transcribed by someone else and then I went in and added videos or added screen shots so someone else could understand the material.

No matter what your niche is whether it is weight loss, self help, relationships, marketing, software or some other subject, it's important that you have your own personality. Some people will buy your product based on the features, some are based on the benefits, and others will buy based on the personality simply because they know they can trust you and have enjoyed something from you in the past.

You still need to make videos and audios with you as the star, but have someone else worry about the tedious tasks such as outsourcing. I think that when you outsource your information product whether it's a report, video course, membership site, audio course or home study course you need to have as much of you still in the product.

That means do the creative things like outlining it, choosing the course curriculum, making videos and audios, and making the user experience easy - do that part yourself but have someone else do the tedious tasks such as transcripts. Go back and make it easier to use by adding screenshots, and make sure that your picture, your name, and your words are all throughout the product.

Robert Plank wants to show you how to get your articles, audios, and products transcribed and outsourced using this step by step system at www.makeaproduct.com.

Provide Coaching To Your Customers And Students To Give Them Better Results And Get A Boost In Income For You

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /var/www/vhosts/incomemachine.com/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/paper-template/papertemplate.php(15) : eval()'d code(3) : eval()'d code on line 392

It's one thing to sell a membership site, eBook or home study course to someone who wants a problem solved by you, but many people need that extra bit of hand holding. That one on one advice, coaching. There are three ways you can provide coaching, group coaching, personal coaching and confidential coaching. Let's go through each of them and figure out which one is best for you.

Group coaching is also known as an online class. For example, let's say you were running a membership site teaching people how to lose weight. You might run a special program and only allow ten to thirty individuals to join that coaching program. You meet once per week to check in on everyone's results, everyone shows up at the same time, you teach a little bit and go over the feedback that you're getting from these students. That's called group coaching, a set number of people joining a program and they all meet together with you as the leader and the teacher, and they all get the information at once. This is great because you can set a plan or curriculum ahead of time, for example, teach a four week course, record it and now you have a four module membership site full of case studies you can sell over and over again.

Personal coaching is where you meet one on one with someone to go over their progress, their problems and their needs. Personal coaching means that you are meeting with one student at a time. Because the energy is focused to just one person you can get away with only meeting for ten or twenty minutes at a time. I really neat thing to try is offering twenty minutes of personal coaching as a bonus to your next product or service, see how many people actually take you up on it and what feedback you get from these customers.

The other thing about personal coaching is you should record this as well and add it to your membership area as a bonus, even if someone does not have the exact same situation. For example, with weight loss which you might have one on one coaching student, everyone can learn from other people's progress. You might be wondering why I told you to record a personal one on one coaching session because everything you do should be leverage. Your time is valuable and it's really neat to get paid upfront for a one on one session and be able to help others.

If someone you're meeting, if one of your students wants the call to be kept confidential, what I recommend is charging double to keep the call unrecorded. For example, you might charge $100 for a twenty minute session where you go one on one with someone's problem and fix it. Then you might charge $200 for the same twenty minute session, but for $200 the recording will not be posted to your member's area.

That is how you provide group coaching, personal coaching and confidential coaching, the thing to keep in mind through all this is you are providing a solution to a problem and helping to get your students where they need to go.

How To Find The Right Coach To Push You To The Next Step And In The Right Direction

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /var/www/vhosts/incomemachine.com/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/paper-template/papertemplate.php(15) : eval()'d code(3) : eval()'d code on line 392

It's very difficult to figure out anything, or to get clarity or motivation without a coach or a mentor. That's why you should choose a mentor but make sure that mentor is accessible, that they have similar goals and knowledge, that they are consistent in their advice, and finally that there is some downtime between that advice you get, you taking action on that advice and meeting with them again.

Many internet marketers, gurus and successful business people will give you advice. Almost all of them have courses or blogs, or books you can purchase. But, you need to find at least one mentor where you can talk to them face to face, online, personally by e-mail or on the phone. This is very important because anyone can give you advice in a blog, post or book but they aren't speaking directly to you.

It really helps if you explain your situation, your problem, your dilemma and then they give you advice specific to you. You can say, I'm going to be launching this product, what should I change? Here is the web page or sales letter, what should be added or removed? What should my next product be? What am I missing right now in my business as far as my subscribers or my offers that should be improved? Find a coach that offers a coaching program where at least you have some accessibility and you can personally contact them, at least a couple of times per year, to get your problems solved.

It doesn't do you any good if you are corresponding with a coach that gives you advice that you shouldn't take action on. That's why when you figure out who you're getting your advice from, this person should have similar knowledge and similar goals as you. That means that if you are running an internet marketing business, you shouldn't get coached by a real estate expert. They are not going to know the ins and outs of your business as well as an internet marketing coach. Make sure you have similar knowledge and goals as this coach.

Getting advice is good, getting the correct advice is even better, but now you also have to take action on that advice. That's why you shouldn't deal with a coach that is too accessible. Join a coaching program where you meet once a month or once a week, but in between that time get stuff done. Accomplish those tasks so you will have results and measurements to report back on, and then you can move onto the next step. If you get advice over and over from a coach what are the options? Either to give you different advice this time or repeat the advice from before, it works a lot better if you're at step number one, they tell you what to do, then you meet again when you're at step number two and so on.

When you're finding the right mentor or coach choose one with a coaching program where they're accessible. Make sure they have similar goals and knowledge as you and make sure there is downtime between meetings so you can take some action and get some results.

The Best Way to Sell Private Label Rights Licenses for an Information Product

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /var/www/vhosts/incomemachine.com/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/paper-template/papertemplate.php(15) : eval()'d code(3) : eval()'d code on line 392

When you create an information product you can make sales on the front end, which means that you sell the product directly but you can also makes sales on the back end by providing resale rights, private label rights or PLR to those information products. Far too many people devalue their PLR material that is why you should price any resale rights items at a high price, have a capped or limited quantity and provide as many tools as possible to make it easy for your buyers to begin marketing your product under their name.

Many people who offer PLR disagree with me on this but you need to offer your resale rights at a high price. This means at leave 10 times the price of the original product. If you were selling a $7 product the price for rights should be at least $100, if you were selling a product for $50 the resale rights should be at least $500. If you think about this is still a great deal because any buyer only needs to make 10 sales in order to make their money back. If that takes them a week or a month, that is still a reasonable amount of time for them to break even.

The next very important thing when it comes to resale rights is to have a limited quantity of licesnses available. As someone who buys rights I am always worried about having too much competition. What good is buying a product and buying the ability to sell it myself if 100 or 1,000 other people also have the ability to do the same thing. That is why you should limit the number of licenses available to 10, 20, or 30 buyers and that is it at that price. If the rights sell out very well, then you can later on sell rights at a higher price and limit those numbers, but at least you are protecting the buyers. Limit the number of resale rights licenses that you sell.

And finally you want to give your buyers as many tools as possible out of the box. This means that if you had a download page for your product, supply that along with the resale rights. If you had a sales letter give them that. If you used emails to market the product, if you used facebook posts, tweets, even if you gave a prewritten ad to affiliates provide that as well.

What is interesting is that I have sold rights that have many people implement the sales letter, download page and solo ad that same day, placed in an affiliate network such as click bank or pay.com and make sales, and make the money back the same day they bought rights from me. And that should be what your resale rights buyers experience as well, so they will buy from you over and over again.

Stay Organized And Get A Lot More Done Using These Easy Tips

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /var/www/vhosts/incomemachine.com/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/paper-template/papertemplate.php(15) : eval()'d code(3) : eval()'d code on line 392

It doesn't take a lot of change in your life just to become more organized, clear your head and get more productive. Three things will get you started. Clean your work area by removing clutter, set work hours and complete four daily tasks.

One thing you should do immediately is clear everything off your desk. Everyone I know who has a messy desk, a messy work area, papers everywhere, notes scribbled on post-it notes, is scatterbrained and they simply don't get a lot of stuff done. What's funny about taking notes is that about 80% of the notes you take will never be used again, all they really do is steal your focus and attention, and distract you from doing the things you actually need to do. If you have passwords that need saving store them in double form. If you have notes that you need to take get them typed up, saved in a file in Ever Notes or in the Word document, put them away. Put things away in your closet, your desk drawers, your filing cabinet. Get it out of your face by removing clutter.

The next thing you should do is set what hours in the day you are going to be completing tasks. There is a reason why most people who work in corporate America nine to five jobs, have to come in at a certain time and have to stay until a certain time. Because, if those hours were not set the average person would not come in at all. If you're working for yourself you still have the freedom to set any hours you want, just figure out if you're going to be working from five o clock to ten o clock, from ten to two or even from nine to five, but decide ahead of time which hours in the day you are going to be completing tasks and stick to them.

When you are completing those tasks I have found that the best amount of things to do is four. Don't have a long to do list, don't have just one big task that you're completing today. Choose four milestones that you can realistically get through during today's workday, and simply complete them.

That's all you have to do in order to get organized and get more done. Clean your work area, set specific hours that you will be working and complete four milestones every single day.

Get your life back on track, get more accomplished and tap into twenty-three step by step systems from Internet Marketer, Robert Plank, at www.timemanagementoncrack.com.

People Skills and Joint Ventures

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /var/www/vhosts/incomemachine.com/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/paper-template/papertemplate.php(15) : eval()'d code(3) : eval()'d code on line 392

You need some people skills when it comes to internet marketing. When you are marketing on the internet, that mean setting up websites and somehow making money with those website over the internet, it can be a very isolated and lonely process. Many people get into internet marketing because they don't want to deal with people. I'm here to tell you that if you can be somewhat personable, at least take ten or twenty minutes out of your day to personally connect with customers, joint venture prospects and more, then those joint ventures, seminars and webinars will make you a lot more money.

Joint ventures are how most people make their money on the internet. A joint venture might mean that someone has an information product and they personally contact people to promote that product. Just doing this shortcuts years of list building, traffic building and so on because you find someone who already has resources. Someone who already has a list to recommend your product to them.

I have made several joint ventures just by sending a quick personal e-mail or calling someone on the phone. It seems scary but a two or five minute phone call could give you the boost you've always needed to make more money this month. Another really great way to make these connections is by going to physical seminars or conferences. What happens is a marketer hosts an event, usually a weekend or a two or three day event, everyone travels to this event and watches the speakers present. For the most part people travel to events to make new connections and meet new people, to find out what is going on.

You can go to these events with some business cards, but go with just the intention of making friends and providing value. Go to a seminar, see who's there and find out who you can run an interview with, who you can run a webinar with, who's product you can buy and then review, that is a great connection you can make. My favorite way of connecting and using people skills is using group webinars.

A webinar means that someone can join your live call, see your screen and hear your voice live, but they cannot talk back, they can only listen to you, type in questions in the question box, vote in polls and so on. This is great because you can speak one time and connect with hundreds of your subscribers at the same time. They can talk back to you as they type and you can take questions, interview people, but webinars are a great way not just to make products and pitch those products, but figure out what your customers, what your subscriber list really wants and needs from you.

I know that as an internet marketer you might want to do everything yourself but you will really shortcut a lot of time by making new joint ventures, attending physical seminars and going to, and creating your own, live webinars.

Use Personal Accountability To Keep Yourself Focused, On Track And Productive

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /var/www/vhosts/incomemachine.com/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/paper-template/papertemplate.php(15) : eval()'d code(3) : eval()'d code on line 392

Personal accountability means that you have a specific set of tasks to complete today and instead of simply doing those tasks, or hoping you'll complete those tasks, you get someone else involved in those tasks. You tell someone upfront, here are the things I'm going to do today. You do them and then you report back on them. To set up personal accountability find someone that you can report what you're going to do and what you have done. Explain why or why not you did or did not finish those tasks and keep in mind that this can be anyone. You can use anyone in your life as an accountability partner.

Staying accountable is very easy. I recommend you choose four things at the beginning of every day that you need to complete. These can be large or small tasks but they should be easy enough that you can realistically complete all four of these things today. Contact someone at the beginning of the day and explain these four tasks. I have done this over e-mail, over the phone or even in person, but very quickly list the four things you want to accomplish today and then stop talking to that person and go do them. Do your best to knock out all four of those tasks. If you only knock out three that's OK, but it's more important to get some of these tasks completely finished instead of having four half finished tasks.

Don't talk to your accountability partner until you have completed or finished your day and then go through each of the tasks. This also is a very speedy process. Look at task number 1, did you or did you not finish it? If you did then that's all there is to say, if you didn't finish it explain why. Did you run out of time, did an emergency come out, it's very important that you explain your reason or excuse for not completing that task. You'll feel guilty for not finishing a task and you'll feel as if you have let someone else down. This seems mad but it simply means that you will feel bad about not completing tasks but you will feel good about completing tasks.

This seems like an accountability partner is a very close personal friend but in fact it can be anyone. A spouse, a business partner, even someone that you have made friends with online. It doesn't matter if the person necessarily even reads or replies to your four daily tasks. Just send them an e-mail everyday with these four things and you'll know that that person probably read that e-mail and if they see later on that you didn't complete all four tasks, even if they don't reply, they'll feel bad about what you haven't accomplished. But, if they see that you have finished all four tasks they will be proud of you. That's how you run personal accountability.

Choose the four things you will be completing at the beginning of the day, tell someone, then do your best to complete then and report back about what you did or did not finish.

Robert Plank is a time management expert and will show you how to get more time and results out of your day at www.timemanagementoncrack.com.
